Operator Panel
The Operator Panel provides a cost effective and
flexible means for inputting and displaying operator
information.
MINT™ provides a powerful set of functions for
reading keys and displaying information on the panel,
allowing a variety of operator interface types to be
configured. Examples of these functions include:
INPUT waits for a number to be entered, INKEY
reads the next key in the buffer and READKEY reads
the key currently being pressed. CLS clears the
screen and LOCATE locates the cursor at a specified
location. Function key F1 through F6 are designed to
support menu driven applications.

defined function keys.
• Audible buzzer controlled from software

Operator Panel Interface Card - OPT003-501
The operator panel interface is used to connect the
operator panel to Stepper, Combo, and Smart
Step/3. It connects between the expansion port of
the controller and the operator panel. The card fits
into a 3U slot of a 19" rack. Note that Servo has a
built in interface.
3 Channel Encoder Interface Card - OPT007-501
The three channel encoder interface card connects to
the expansion bus and provides for three additional
encoder inputs. These can be used for master
encoder inputs or for position verification.
Encoder Splitter Card - OPT008-501
The encoder splitter takes a single encoder input and
buffers it into two outputs. The encoder splitter is
used for 'bussing' a master encoder to two slave
axes.
